When the Cabas Alto was originally released, it became so immensely popular with celebrities and Louis Vuitton fans alike that the brand re-released the silhouette in 2011. It’s simple design and spacious interior seamlessly blend style and functionality. It is crafted in classic Monogram coated canvas with Vachetta leather trimming. The Cabas Alto is the largest in the series of three (Piano, Mezzo & Alto). The Monogram print was first introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs.
