The Montaigne bag was first introduced in Louis Vuitton's 2014 Fall/Winter collection and is named after the famous Avenue Montaigne in Paris. Crafted from the brand's signature Monogram coated canvas, this petite-sized pre-owned bag features natural Vachetta leather top handles and includes a detachable coated canvas shoulder strap offering versatility. The Monogram print was first introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs.
