First introduced in the early 2000's, the Toile City from Louis Vuitton in the PM size rendered the brand's signature Monogram canvas with quilted detailing. Featuring Vachetta trimming and gold-tone brass hardware. The Monogram print was first introduced in the year 1896 by Georges Vuitton, the print was created to stop counterfeiters from copying the brands designs. The repeated pattern is made up of interlocking L and V initials in a serif font, and flowers inspired by Japanese and Oriental designs.
