Special order Anemone & Jaune Ambre Clemence leather Birkin with gold-plated hardware. Featuring the incredibly rare Horseshoe stamp, this bag was crafted with top collector specifications in mind and is an even more covetable version of the classic Birkin. Clemence leather is a thick and durable calfskin with a medium textured grain known for resisting scratches, its ability to be refurbished and a soft relaxed feel with use. Includes lock, two keys, and clochette.
About the Birkin: When Hermes' own Jean-Louis Dumas sat down next to Jane Birkin on a flight he had no idea he was about to create history. When Jane Birkin discussed her need for a sizeable (yet chic) weekender, Dumas immediately got to work designing the perfect bag for her needs, and in 1984 we were introduced to the Birkin, which would quickly become the most coveted bag in history thanks (in part) to the 48 hours it takes to hand-assemble this exquisite piece as well as the extensive wait list you'll need to join to purchase one from stores.
